What was the highlight of Piemont Hotel Boutique
Relaxing Stay
The staff was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel super comfortable. Marco is the attendant working mornings and he made the check in / tours reservations process super easy. Jorge is the night attendant and he was always ready to open the front door for us (we went in and out a lot). Overall the hotel is really beautiful, but the staff is what really impressed me.
Everything was good. I especially liked the family style breakfast in a round table. They have a small menu with things like eggs, pancakes, cereal. It’s nothing to fill you up but it’s pretty nice to start the day. Only problem is there’s only 2 tables. So once they pick up and receive a higher volume of guests, there won’t be enough space for more than 2 groups to eat breakfast at the same time. (This was never a problem for us)

Nice boutique hotel
In general the accomodation is looking very nice and it is equipped very well. The staff was very nice and we enjoyed our stay, despite the small defects mentioned.
The fridge was not working (though we could use the fridge in the main kitchen), the hot water in the shower was not working as well. At night the alarm in our room began to beep three times, after the electricity has been shut off. I had to get up three times to make it stop somehow. The breakfast was a little too less and too simple.

A hidden gem in a quiet middle class neighborhood
The property is located in a quiet street in a secure middle class neighborhood of Cartagena . It is a hidden gem, you won’t think much of if until you get inside the property and settle in your room. So glad we pick this spot instead of touristy areas overcrowded by street vendors and obnoxious tourists. It is cheap to grab a taxi to the walled or old city but make sure you bargain if you get a yellow cab. Customer service was amazing and the place was so peaceful and clean. I could not believe what we paid for. I was really skeptical at first but the value you get for this property is unheard of. You almost get a feel that you have the whole property because other tourists are always out and about so really quiet. It is also in walking distance to a large shopping mall, Caribe Plaza.

What was the highlight of Piemont Hotel Boutique
A hidden Gem
The room was very large with a super comfortable Hammok and massive bathroom. The staff were amazing at all times, very attentive and ensured everything during my stay was taken care of. "Malu" at the front desk was always smiling and had very good English. The pool was outside my room and provided a nice place to relax and catch some sun before going out exploring the city. I highly recommend this hidden gem and will be returning to stay.
